Main Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to transport stock to clients safely and efficiently while ensuring all delivery documentation is completed accurately. The successful candidate will also assist with loading and off-loading activities and maintain compliance with all road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
The Driver: Code 8 will be responsible for a variety of important duties, including:
Transporting Stock
The successful candidate will transport stock and products to customers according to delivery schedules. Deliveries must be completed safely, professionally, and within agreed timeframes.
Loading and Off-Loading
Drivers will assist with loading and off-loading stock from vehicles. Proper handling procedures must be followed to prevent damage to goods during transportation.
Documentation and Administration
Accurate paperwork is a critical part of the role. Drivers will be required to complete loading and off-loading documentation and ensure all records are correctly maintained.
Stock Verification
The position requires regular stock counting and verification to ensure the correct quantities are delivered and received.
Road Safety Compliance
Drivers must comply with all traffic laws and road safety regulations. Maintaining a safe driving record and protecting company assets are essential requirements of the role.
Overtime Requirements
The successful applicant must be willing to work overtime when operational requirements demand additional working hours.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants interested in this position should meet the following requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification
- Must be literate and able to complete documentation accurately
- Valid Code 8 driver’s licence
- Previous experience transporting stock
- Good understanding of road safety regulations
- Ability to load and off-load goods safely
