Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties related to transportation and vehicle maintenance. The position requires someone who is dependable, organized, and committed to safety and professionalism.
The responsibilities include:
- Performing various driving duties as assigned by management.
- Safely transporting students, staff, and other authorised passengers.
- Conducting miscellaneous tasks when required.
- Cleaning and maintaining campus vehicles.
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and checklists.
- Filling up the bus with fuel and ensuring it is always ready for use.
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment within the vehicles.
- Ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
The Driver will be expected to represent the institution professionally and provide excellent service to both students and staff.

Minimum Educational Requirements

- Minimum of N3 or Grade 11.
- Grade 12/Matric will be considered an added advantage.
Candidates who have additional qualifications or certifications relevant to transportation and customer service may also have an advantage during the selection process.
Work Experience Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should have:
- A minimum of three years of relevant driving experience.
- Experience in a similar position and environment.
- A proven track record of safe driving and vehicle management.
Experience within educational institutions, corporate environments, or transport services may be beneficial.
Special Requirements
Applicants must also possess the following:
- Fluency in English.
- A valid Code EB Driver’s Licence.
- A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
